A new, really nice feature in Ax is the use of the new DateTime data type. What this data type does is that it will always store the date and time in Coordinated Universal Time. When a user in US wants to see the field in a form, it is displayed in the time zone of the user. This makes it perfect for a multisite operation spread around the world.
It will also show the date and time in the correct format. Ex: US: 05/15/2008 03:03:50 pm and NO: 15/05/2008 15:03:50 pm
The DateTime also supports adjustments for daylight savings time.
