Responsibilities

As an SDET on the Dynamics AX GFM team, you will be responsible for the quality of country-specific functionality we deliver to our partners and customers across all of the European region.
o You will participate in design discussions and contribute to test design, test case definition, writing/maintaining automation using C# as well as X++ (a Dynamics AX Language), test execution and analysis.
o You will work together with Developers, Program Managers, Technical Writers and Usability Engineers to ensure the features meet customer needs, product quality requirements and country-specific regulations.
o You will develop test tools and help build test infrastructure and processes to support testing the product.
o You will build solid collaborative relationships with vendors and other internal Microsoft teams across the globe.


Qualifications

• Self-motivated individual contributor able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Attracted to solving complex problems: having an attention to detail and a passion for quality.
• Strong technical background including experience in software design, programming languages such as C# and debugging tools.
• A team-player with excellent verbal/written communication skills and competent in cross-group collaboration as well as managing outsourcing.
• Experience in software testing: having designed tests and worked with automation tools and frameworks.
• A background in financials and/or testing Business Applications is considered a plus, but not required.
• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or some related technical discipline is a must.

Разработка нужна, так как довольно большую часть времени занимает написание автоматизированных тестов, которые еженедельно\ежедневно выполняются на разных билдах АХ. Тесты пишуются как на Х++, так и на C#. Используются различные технологии и средства для упрощения написания тестов и уменьшения времени требуемого на поддержку этих тестов.
Не могу сказать, что работа сложная в техническом плане. Очень много времени также уходит на различного рода общение с другими людьми\командами.
Зарплаты на семью с 3мя детьми хватает. Без детей денег, конечно, намного больше оставаться будет Но у меня есть здесь друзья, у которых вот недавно 3ий ребенок родился - у них все хорошо, могут себе позволить кушать вкусно, отдыхать интересно и т.д.

Мне перезвонили из центрального MS. В процессе интервью выяснилось, что они ищут разработчика ядра Аксапты. Короче, я так и не понял, по какому признаку отбираются кандидаты для интервью.

Та позиция, на которую я выслал ваше резюме, видимо уже заполнена. Поэтому они ваше резюме поместили в общую базу, видимо.. откуда по ключевым словам "разработчик АХ" вас вытащили ядро, не ядро - HR то разницу врядли понимает.

Нет, в Копене есть свой HR небольшой. Но у нас и позиций намного меньше, а соответственно больше спроса видимо из Редмонда идет..
