Navision Developer's Toolkit is designed to help you analyze, customize and update Navision applications. Regardless whether you are working as a Navision project manager, developer, supporter, trainer or sales person you will have to look behind the application.

The complexity of connections and relations in the application modules and the source codes of Navision also requires a lot of time for all developers customizing, developing or updating a Navision database to get into the structure of a database. Especially in customized databases, architectural documentation frequently does not exist, and when it does, it is often out of sync with the implemented functionality.

Navision Developer's Toolkit provides you with a collection of analyzing and developing tools to reduce the time to get into the structure of a Navision database and to update customized solutions. The structure of a Navision database is defined by the objects and their properties used in this database.

Please note that, in order to use the toolkit, you need the appropriate Navision granules in your license file.

- Support of SQL-Server
Developer's Toolkit databases can now be used on Microsoft SQL-Server.

- Handling of new Object XMLport
The new object type XMLport can be used with this Developer's Toolkit version.

- Handling of new Object MenuSuite
The new object type MenuSuite can be used with this Developer's Toolkit version.
Only MenuSuite object 10 MBS are supported in this release.

- New Database Open Dialog
A new Database Open Dialog has been implemented. This dialog integrates and replaces
the Database Open and the Connect Server dialog.

- Navision 4.0 Objects in backup file
The delivered backup file contains all Navision 4.0 objects.

- C/FRONT 4.0
Developer's Toolkit Setup installs C/FRONT 4.0

Уважаемый Mazzy!

У меня стоит Navision 4.0, поставил Developer Toolkit. При открытии бд (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision\Client) он выдает ошибку:

The database C:\Program Files\Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision\Client\database.fdb odes not contain Navision Developer's Toolkit objects.
Please import the latest version of Navision Developer's Toolkit objects into this database.

В чем может быть причина ошибки и как ее можно устранить?

На самом деле, лучше создайте новую базу.
Импортируйте в нее fob из каталога Navision Toolkit.
Далее читайте доку в каталоге.

В стандартной демобазе C:\Program Files\Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision\Client\database.fdb объектов для Toolkit нет.

Плюс ко всему нужно иметь девелоперскую лицензию.
